Marko Virtala

Virtala is a typical utility forward capable of playing both as a center and as a winger. Lacks in size and finds himself in trouble along the boards and in front of the goal. Uses his agility and fast skating to avoid being hit. Has a good work ethic and is willing to play in any role. Lacks offensive flair and skill at taking faceoffs, which diminish his offensive potential. Best suited as a bottom-six forward. (EP 2014)
