En av svensk ishockeys stora spelare. Slog igenom som underbarn i IF Tunabro tillsammans med Göran Högosta. Gjorde ett klassiskt hat-trick på Sovjets målvakt Vladislav Tretiak i VM-77. Stor fältherre på isen som alltid fanns framme och gjorde mål. Avgjorde bl a SM-finalen 1975 för Leksands IF mot Brynäs IF i "sudden". Hade en lyckosam NHL-karriär och även Tysklandsproffs i Düsseldorf.
Deltog i den första upplagan av Canada Cup som spelades 1976.
Bor i Västerås.
