Goring won 4 straight Stanley Cups and a Conn Smythe with the Islanders in the early 1980s. The 5'9 center was an 11x 20-goal scorer and posted 60 points in 8 seasons. He also won a Bill Masterton and Lady Byng Trophy and retired with 375 goals and 513 assists in 1,107 games.
