PLAYER BIOGRAPHY AND TRIVIA
 
 
Cult/Star player for Czech Republic
 
Milan Kajkl played junior hockey in his native club HC Plzen. While doing his military service he joined army club HC Dukla Jihlava to win the Czechoslovakian championship titles in 69/70 and 70/71. After returning to Plzen he played another ten seasons in the Extraliga, overall he appeared in 445 league matches and scored 48 goals. Kajkl was also a regular player on the roster of the Czechoslovakian national team, which he represented in 106 international matches. He won the World Championship gold medal twice and retired after two seasons abroad, one in Austria and one in Switzerland.
