- Mike Danton was known as Mike Jefferson prior to 2002. He changed his surname due to personal reasons.
- Danton served 62 months in prison after being sentenced for conspiracy to commit murder on July 16, 2004. He was transferred to serve his US prison sentence in Canada on March 19, 2009. He was granted parole on September 11, 2009, after serving further six months of his 90 months sentence in Canada.
