He might be a poor skater, but Holmström is so much more. The question is if there is a Swedish player today that plays with more heart and determination than Holmström. He is excellent to use on the power play, where he stands in front of the opponent’s goalie and both receives and gives out hits. He strong physically and has pretty good timing in his hits.
Holmström is not really a superb sniper, but he scores quite a few garbage goals and is a proven performer in the post season.
