"Ankan" kallad.

Bildade på 1960-talet den klassiska kyclingkedjan tillsammans med Lennart "Sillen" Selinder och Göran "Svirre" Svensson i AIK.

Kom fram som ett snabbskrinnande underbarn i klubben 1959 och spelade fram till 1970 då tränarkarriären tog vid.

Ledde AIK under flera säsonger från båset innan "Ankan" kom att bli svensk förbundskapten mellan åren 1981, då han tog över efter Bengt "Fisken" Ohlson, och 1984 då Leif Boork tog vid.

Gjorde efter det sig mest känd som bisittare och uppskattad expertkommentator i TV åt Arne Hegerfors.

Debuterade i Tre Kronor 19 december 1961 mot Norge i Oslo. "Ankan" svarade för ett mål då Sverige vann med 3-0 och spelade i en kedja med lagkamraten i AIK Jan-Olof Back och Leksands tuffing "Olle-Mapa" Sjögren

Bor i Kvicksund.
