Ian Morgan grew up in Gloucester Ma before moving to Fairfield CT. While in MA, Ian played club hockey at the Merrimack Islanders + Valley Jr Warriors elite teams. In 2023, Ian moved to CT where he joined the MidFairfield AAA elite team and participated in the 2023/24 Nationals 14U Tournament.
As a high school freshman Ian played for Warde/Ludlow D1 varsity where he earned All-State 2nd team selection with 15 points in 21 games. Ian transferred to Fairfield Preparatory HS as a sophomore where he currently is a member of the varsity hockey team that competed in the 2025/26 State Championships. Ian combined for 14 points in 19 regular season games as a sophomore.

- 2024 Sioux City Musketeers prospect camp participant
