Kom fram som en stor forwardstalang i Almtuna IS men fostrad i Leksands IF. Flyttade redan som junior till Uppsala för spel med Almtuna IS. Där upptäckte ledarna i AIK Christian och gjorde honom till Allsvensk spelare redan som 19 åring, säsongen 1958/59. Spelade även en säsong med Leksands IF i Allsvenskan.
Var under en tid ordförande i Leksands IF.
