Cult/Star player for Östersunds IK

"Kalle" Alander var en tuff back och en mordern back som även hade näsa för målskyttet. Kom ursprungligen från IK Boston (senare Östersunds IK efter att Boston Bruins tvingat klubben att byta namn) i Östersund. Hade uppehåll från ishockeyn som aktiv 80-82 då han tränade Östersunds IK för att senare göra comeback som spelare i samma klubb.
Elitserietränare en säsong för Leksands IF (86/87).
