Cult/Star player for Västerås IK

Official Games Team Sweden: 4 A, 3 J

Västeråsmålvakt som ofta fanns med i diskussionen kring landslagsuttagningarna. Bland annat så var Hedén aktuell för spel i OS 1960. Men förbundskaptenen Ed Riegle valde i stället att satsa på Kjell Svensson och Bengt Lindqvist.

Debuterade i Tre Kronor mot Finland i Helsingfors 1959 med att förlora med 4-1. Sveriges mål gjordes för övrigt av OS-spelaren Sune Wretling.
