Don’t be fooled by Nguyen’s stature, his physical game projects as a clear strength in the NHL. He sprints for every loose puck, then jockeys for body positioning. If he wins, he deepens his stance and uses his free hand to keep the defender on his back. If he loses, he runs them over with a ferocious body check.
