Carter Kowalyk Facts

Kowalyk's defensive game will be where he makes his greatest impact. He flattens opponents off the rush, wins body positioning along the boards, and always looks to step up on opponents. He doesn't settle for low-percentage plays from the point, preferring to take on defenders with his hands, look for teammates around the slot as passing options, and using space off-puck to keep his team's offence flowing. -EliteProspects 2023 NHL Draft Guide
