Jakub Smolka Facts

Smolka follows the play around the zone well, despite employing a fairly wide stance. He stays deep in his crease and keeps himself within the frame of the net. Any potential mobility lost by having a wider stance isn’t as noticeable because his movements around the crease are so controlled and efficient. -EliteProspects 2024 NHL Draft Guide
