Tommi Välimaa

Välimaa is grinder with a hulking figure. Has a good reach, which allows him to keep the puck out of the opponents reach and carry it up the ice. Strong along the boards and in front of the net. Likes to agitate the opponents and is prone to taking penalties. Fairly slow on skates, which can lead to clutch and grab penalties. (EP 2014)
