Mattias Weinhandl was known for his fine offensive instincts. A natural scorer, he loved to use his fast release and accurate shot. Not overly speedy or strong in physical battles, he did not make it in the NHL. In the end, Weinhandl was forced to retire due to post-concussion syndrome.
