Player Biography and Trivia

Olle "Mapa" Sjögren var den tuffe fightern från Leksands IF. Det sas att han till och med slogs med den heta kanadensaren och lagkamraten Des Moroney under en av Leksands matcher.Svarade för tre mål i sina första två landskamper som var mot Norge 1961. Matcherna vanns av Sverige med 11-0 och 8-0. Var nära en plats till hockey-VM 1965 i Tammerfors efter att ha gjort en lysande säsong i både Leksand och Tre Kronor. Men han ratades i sista stund av dåvarande förbundskaptenen Arne Strömberg.
