Rick Vaive was the first player in Maple Leafs history to score 50 goals in a season. He reached the 50-goal mark 3 years in a row, from 1982-84, and scored no less than 30 goals until 1990, when he had 29 in 70 games. The 3x All-Star retired from the NHL in 1993 with 441 goals, 788 points, and 1,445 PIM in 876 games.
