Official Games Team Sweden: 36 A, 2 J

Westerlund slog sig fram till sitt första SM-guld via spel i Strömsbro IF och Brynäs IF innan han hamnade i Gävle GIK. Där blev han svensk mästare 1956/57.

Flyttade senare ner till Stockholm och valde då spel för Djurgårdens IF där det också blev SM-guld, 1962/63. Han var en fantastisk tekniker och spelfördelare samt väldigt målfarlig.

Flitigt använd i Tre Kronor under slutet av 1950- talet och i början av 1960-talet. Debuterade på bortaplan mot Norge 1956, vinst 3-1.

Gösta Westerlund avled 1985.
