Drafted 1974, 4 #59 overall by Minnesota Fighting Saints in the WHA Amateur Draft

Played Jack Hanson in the 1977 movie Slap Shot. He replaced Jack Carlson as he was recalled to Minnesota just prior to filming the movie. Hanson was a member of the 1974-1975 Johnstown Jets team that the movie was based on.
