Fick chansen som reservmålvakt i Tre Kronor bakom Kjell Svensson på lagets turné till Moskva i november 1959. Kom dock aldrig in i själva spelet.

Under många år reservmålvakt i Djurgården bakom Yngve Johansson. Flyttade senare till Nacka SK där han fick lite av ett gemombrott i kassen.
