An well-rounded forward with very good leadership skills, he plays with a lot of authority and expresses a great attitude and the instinct of a winner. Lagerström skates hard, but could still use some extra speed, and has decent technical skills and hockey sense. He has scored some pretty important goals in the past and is a valuable player to have on the ice in heated situations. He is defensively very responsible and a good penalty killer.
