Arvid Eljas Facts

Player Type: Powerful SkaterTwo-Way CenterWorkhorse
Agency: Premium

The forward makes good decisions on the ice. Defensively, he backchecks, supports his defencemen down low, and gives them long passing windows on breakouts. He is patient and of a supportive mentality. And in the offensive zone, his large peripheral vision allows him to redirect the puck to teammates in dangerous areas. Eljas rarely overplays a situation and doesn’t waste opportunities. -EliteProspects 2021 NHL Draft Guide

Father: Jan Eljas
Brothers: Eric Eljas & Ivan Eljas
Grandfather: Arne Eljas
Great Uncles: Gunnar Eljas & Rune Eljas
Cousins: Oscar Mårtens
Second Cousins: Carl Heineman, Emil Heineman, Olle Liss & Signe Liss

A hard-working, intense centre who can drive play, Eljas may not be the most beautiful skater but is explosive and effective anyway.
