Viita’s abilities as an opportunistic offensive creator can’t be denied. At his best, he excels at sniffing cracks in the opponent’s armour and has the skill level required to exploit them. He’s a legitimate threat on the power play from the half wall, capable of picking corners and beating goalies clean from mid-range, but also running the unit as a passer.
