Tassilo Pereira
The long-time veteran has defended Team Brazil on numerous occasions since his early days playing roller hockey in the country's CBHP National League (1993-2000). He made the transition to ice in 1998 while living in Shelburne, ON. In 1999, he was listed as a Directorate for Team Brazil at the IIHF In-Line World Cup Qualification Tournament in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he also coached the U16 National Team to a gold medal in the event. Pereira went on to play for the University of North Texas Eagles, becoming SCHL's leading scorer in the 2000-2001 season with 50 goals and 10 assists in 23 games. The league also awarded him with the organization's first ever scholarship. After graduating with the “Mean Green” in 2003, he spent one year in America's Southernmost Hockey League before moving to Switzerland, where he played two seasons with the Grasshopper Club Zürich in the Swiss 3.Liga. In his first season with the team he recorded 4 goals and 7 assists in 12 games. Since returning to North America in 2009, he played in Alberta's BNHHL and most recently in a local veteran's league in Cochrane, AB, where he resides with his family, while active as a Team Manager and Assistant Coach with Cochrane Minor Hockey (CMHA). Currently, he remains active as a player, manager and assistant coach with Brazil Ice Hockey, having participated in Amerigol’s 2022 LATAM Spring Classic, multiple editions of the LATAM Cup and most recently the 2025 Dream Nations Cup, presented by CCM, where Team Brazil earned a silver medal.
