Scout's Notebook: Terik Parascak's breakout start and other draft eligible standouts

Three weeks into the WHL season, there’s been no shortage of surprises.

None have been bigger than Terik Parascak. 

The Prince George Cougars fourth-rounder appeared in just five WHL games last season. He didn’t record a single point. 

Now, he can’t stop scoring. He has 12 goals and six assists in just nine games, backed by five multi-point outings. 

Sure, some luck has been involved, but Parascak’s quickly proven himself to be an exciting talent for the 2024 Draft.
