The six-foot-two (and a half) blueliner has seen his fair share of the spotlight in his young career and landed at No. 17 in the Elite Prospects Final Rankings.
Hensler shone – particularly in the season’s back half – with separating mobility, ever-improving offensive dare, and physical effectiveness rarely seen among draft eligibles in the NCAA. In a class with unusual depth at right defence, Hensler stood out in our late-season viewings as the clear second-best option in the position behind Radim Mrtka.
