Film Room: Why Milton Gästrin is the smart, reliable centre NHL teams want

At Elite Prospects, we only ranked two players – Victor Eklund and Anton Frondell – inside our first round who spent their entire draft seasons playing in Europe. That's not to say that they will be the only two who end up going during the first day, with there being a couple of candidates to get selected towards the end of the first round.
One of these players is Milton Gästrin.
The Swedish centre has generated first-round interest since the first months of the season, starting off his campaign with a bang at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup where he formed Sweden's top forward line together with Ivar Stenberg and Viktor Klingsell. The trio stuck together throughout different tournaments, with Gästrin ending with 32 points in 19 games in total with Sweden's U18 squad.
