Philadelphia Flyers 2025 NHL Draft recap: Flyers building an identity

The Philadelphia Flyers closed off their 2025 NHL Draft with nine selections, five of which were in the top-50. With every passing pick, the Flyers were sending a clear message: they dream big. Literally.

Five of their first six picks were taller than 6’2”, starting at 6th overall with Porter Martone all the way down to Matthew Gard at 57th. The Flyers valued size in this class, and were even willing to trade up to secure said size.
