The Elite Prospects mid-January top-64 2025 NHL Draft ranking

A mere six weeks have passed since our last draft ranking, but so much has changed. Multiple draft prospects battled at the World Juniors tournament, facing some of the best of their peers and clarifying their potential. The World Junior A Challenge a few days prior, the OHL Top Prospects Game, and plenty of league games had us accumulate even more game reports.
At the midpoint of the season, our team has filled more than 3000 of them. We’re starting to better understand the strengths and weaknesses of the current class. We’re finding comparables, accumulating tracking data, and cementing the top part of our board.
