Meet the Team: Canada's 2025 Under-18 World Hockey Championship roster

Canada’s under-18 team began the season with a Gold Medal at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup, winning for a third-straight year.
But this team isn’t that team. With many of that team’s stars still in the CHL Playoffs or injured, Canada will instead rely on draft-minus-one talent to fill much of the lineup and carry a significant burden offensively. There are seven underagers in total, to go along with two late-2007s.
As such, watching this team is just about as much about getting a fresh look at the 2026 NHL Draft as it is for finalizing takes on the 2025 eligibles.
With a little bit of luck, Canada might be able to insulate their roster in the coming days as top prospects are knocked out of the playoffs. Potential top-two pick Michael Misa has been named to the roster, but is currently injured and may not suit up. Here’s what they’re starting with.
