Meet the Team: Czechia's 2025 Under-18 World Hockey Championship roster

Czechia enters the IIHF Under-18 World Hockey Championship with hopes of earning a medal for the first time since 2014.

The team is bringing its strongest possible roster, including 18 players who captured silver at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup this past summer. It’s a lineup featuring offensive depth, quality on the blue line, and reliable goaltending.

As was the case last year, the Adam Benák and Adam Novotný will be the key pillars. They’ll be supported by Vojtěch Čihař and Vít Záhejský as other top contributors. Šimon Katolický, one of the most intriguing Czech players eligible for the 2026 NHL Draft, will also be part of the team.
