Joey Cullen, Drew Bate headline standouts at 2025 Wendy Dufton Memorial Tournament

LONDON, Ontario — The 2025 Wendy Dufton Memorial Tournament has now come and gone, and the GTHL reigned supreme yet again.

After a solid 3-0-1 record through the round robin and a plus-12 goal differential, the Don Mills Flyers were able to win all four of their elimination games to cap off what would be a gutsy tournament win. While never truly dominating their opponents, the Flyers grinded tooth and nail through all eight games, including the championship game, where they defeated the Upper Canada Blues 2-1. Their run to a trophy was highlighted by a semi-final win against the dominant Vaughan Kings, a game that saw two of their best players, Ryder Evans and Brady Nash, watching from the sidelines.
