Jaxon Jacobson is processing the game like an NHLer for the Brandon Wheat Kings

Jaxon Jacobson is putting together one of the most impressive under-18 season in WHL history.
He's leading the league in points per game at 1.81 through 21 games. That production sits third among U18 players since 2000, trailing only Connor Bedard and Gavin McKenna.
But the numbers only tell part of the story.
At 5-foot-9, 176 pounds, Jacobson won't wow scouts with his frame. He won't blow past defenders with explosive speed. What he will do is manipulate defensive structures with elite processing, deliver passes that few players at any level can execute, and control possessions in ways that make everyone around him better.
The vision is NHL-calibre right now. The question heading into his draft year is whether he can add the layers needed to become a driver, not just a distributor.
