Fantasy Hockey Feature: Will Connor Bedard be held back by Chicago?

With 22 goals and 61 points in 68 games for the Chicago Blackhawks, it was every bit the expected rookie season from budding superstar Connor Bedard. Had he not missed six weeks with a fractured jaw, it seems very plausible that he would have reached at least 25 goals and 70 points, and those are gaudy numbers for an 18-year-old. (Bedard, by the way, doesn’t turn 19 until next week.) It is worth looking at how good his season actually was, how it stacked up against the rest of the league, and what his upside can be for the 2024-25 fantasy hockey season. 

What is immediately obvious with Bedard was how important he was to Chicago’s offence in all facets. Here is how the team fared with him on and off the ice this season on a 60-minute basis:
