Impressive win for Islanders

Three goals scored – and a shutout. The New York Islanders secured a road victory against the New York Rangers. The game ended 3-0 (1-0, 1-0, 1-0).
New York Islanders has extended their lead in their division to 71 points, while Columbus sits two points back.
The Islanders started off strong and took the lead right after the puck drop with Casey Cizikas scoring at early into the period, goal assisted by Ryan Pulock.
Matt Martin scored early in the period, assisted by Mathew Barzal and Ross Johnston, to give the Islanders the lead.
The Islanders also made it 3-0 when Mathew Barzal scored goal, assisted by Oliver Wahlstrom early in the period. The 3-0 goal held up as the game winner.
New York Rangers drops to 44–20–5, while New York Islanders improves to 31–27–9.
So, New York Rangers is still in second place and New York Islanders is in fifth.
On Sunday, April 0 Rangers will play home against the Philadelphia Flyers at 7 p.m., while Islanders will face the New Jersey Devils away at 4 p.m.
