The 2-0 (0-0, 1-0, 1-0) win at home sealed the victory for the Edmonton Oilers in the series against the Los Angeles Kings in the NHL Åttondelsfinal. Edmonton won in 4-3 games.

Late into the second period, the Oilers took the lead when Cody Ceci opened the scoring assisted by Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl.

In the third period, Connor McDavid scored with 3 minutes remaining, assisted by Kailer Yamamoto and Brett Kulak, and sealed the win.

Edmonton improves to 4–0–0, while Los Angeles drops to 3–0–0.
