Panthers strengthen title grip with another win

This means the team has extended their lead in the NHL and the gap to the second-placed Toronto have now grown to 10 points. Anaheim Ducks is in sixth place in the league.

The visiting Ducks took the lead, with a goal scored by Troy Terry. Trevor Zegras and Derek Grant assisted.
Anthony Duclair scored early in the period, assisted by Carter Verhaeghe and Aleksander Barkov, to give the Panthers the lead.
Ducks' Derek Grant tallied a goal late into the period, cutting the deficit to 2-1. Jamie Drysdale and Adam Henrique assisted.
In the third period, Anthony Duclair scored his second goal 11 minutes into the third period, assisted by Sam Reinhart and Claude Giroux, to tie the game. With this goal, the score was tied and then, the game went to overtime.
The Panthers have now won eight games in a row.
Florida Panthers improves to 52–15–6, while Anaheim Ducks drops to 29–33–13.
Panthers host the Winnipeg Jets on Friday, April 5 at 7 p.m. Ducks host the Tampa Bay Lightning to play Lightning on Thursday, April 4 at 7 p.m.
