ECAC semifinals: Four teams fighting for one NCAA spot

This is maybe the most high-stakes championship weekend of any conference that's still in the semifinals. Basically, every team is playing for its life on Friday, because Quinnipiac, the current No. 12 team in the Pairwise, can all but guarantee an NCAA tournament appearance with a win tonight. However, if they lose to Cornell, there's a decent-sized chance that they would miss the tournament. For the three other teams, it's win or go home.

Perhaps most notable about this game, beyond the NCAA tournament implications, is that it might be the final game of coach Mike Schafer's career. After decades behind the bench, Schafer announced over the summer that this would be his final year, and his Big Red kept that run alive last weekend by upsetting
