Elite Prospects NCAA Power Rankings for early March

The playoffs are here. Every conference is now closing in on its quarterfinal weekend and there are a lot of plates spinning, with teams vying not only for conference bragging rights, but also NCAA tournament bids.

One thing there isn't a lot of with the tourney right around the corner? Open spots.

As things stand right now, 12 of the 16 spots are spoken for with at-large bids, barring an upset in literally every conference. Add in the fact that the most likely outcome for three conference tournaments is that a team outside the top 16 wins the automatic bid, and we're talking about maybe one or two at-large bids being up for grabs. Which sets up a wild final two weekends.
