Elite Prospects NCAA Power Rankings for late October

We're nearly through the first month of the season and it feels like we know less now than we did in September. Teams we thought would be great are losing. Teams we thought would be doormats are in our top 15. Teams we thought would be elite are grinding out wins against opponents they should be destroying. Upsets continue apace.

What does it all mean, apart from “hockey is a weird sport?” Tough to say right now.
