We knew this would be a wacky year for college hockey, what with all the CHL guys and stuff like that.

How many people though it would be this wacky though? A lot of people though former CHLers would come in and dominate. While there are some, like Porter Martone, who absolutely have, most are just having seasons that top out at "quite good." By both total points and points per game, there is just one ex-CHL player in the top 10 in scoring. Oliver Peer of Bemidji State (12-9—21 in 20 games) is tied for 10th on volume, while Lindenwood's Charles Savoie (4-12—16 in 11, good for 1.45 per game) is third on rate.
