NCAA tournament preview: Allentown regional features a bit of fun and potential chaos

If you're looking for the Fun Bracket, this is probably it.

Some really cool matchups in this one, and while there is a clear favorite here, it is by no means straightforward.

In the early game, it's the only first-round matchup between teams that played each other already this season: a battle of Connecticut teams, with No. 6 UConn taking on No. 12 Quinnipiac. Their first meeting, back in late January, was a tight 2-1 win for the higher-seeded Huskies, but shots were 36-24 Quinnipiac. There's nothing to really draw from that game, since it was a one-off a few months ago, but both are at least going to be familiar with what the other brings to the table, and maybe that alone makes it a more entertaining matchup.
