NCAA Weekender: Ivy resurgence makes ECAC must-watch

HAMDEN, Conn. — The ECAC regular-season race hasn't really been all that competitive in the past several years.

Last season, Quinnipiac won it by five points, and only had two regulation losses all year. The time before that, the Bobcats finished 10 points clear of second with two regulation losses. Before that, it was an 11-point gap with, you guessed it, two regulation losses. In 2021-22, it was a three-point advantage with an abysmal three regulation losses.

(The postseason tournaments have been a completely different story, but that's not what we're talking about right now.)

This season, though, things are shaping up quite differently. You don't even have to be charitable to say this is a five-team race, between Cornell, Dartmouth, Princet
