For most conferences, the first round of the playoffs is over. And you won't find anyone who had a better weekend than Zam Plante at Minnesota-Duluth.

While his younger brother Max has been the one in the Hobey Baker conversation all year, Zam had to hop in the driver's seat not once but twice this weekend. The center, who played four years in the USHL before arriving in college last season, scored four goals in dramatic fashion: On Friday, he netted the extra-attacker goal with 23 seconds left then added the game-winner just 3:30 into overtime. Then he repeated the feat on Saturday, scoring with the goalie out and just 33 seconds to go, then giving the Bulldogs the sweep over St. Cloud 5:11 into OT.
