Who will win the 2026 Hobey Baker, Mike Richter, and Tim Taylor awards, and who should?

There's a lot of intrigue around who's going to win the three major player awards in college hockey this season.

For the Hobey Baker award, given to the nation's most outstanding player, the finalists are Michigan senior center TJ Hughes, Minnesota-Duluth sophomore left wing Max Plante, and Denver junior defenceman Eric Pohlkamp.

The finalists for the Mike Richter award, given to the most outstanding goaltender, are Michigan State junior Trey Augustine, UMass sophomore Michael Hrabal, and Augustana junior Josh Kotai.
