Anton Frondell's offensive evolution is good news for the Chicago Blackhawks

NHL ProspectsArticle limited to subscribed members

Anton Frondell has been tearing up the SHL over the past few weeks, with five goals in the last two games and a production nearing the point-per-game.

It’s early in the season, but it's a safe bet that he will continue his remarkable scoring streak.

Slotting in the team’s middle-six, Frondell has received regular ice time at five-on-five next to talented linemates, like Victor Eklund, his partner last season, and Viggo Björck, a highly talented prospect eligible for the 2026 NHL Draft. The Chicago Blackhawks' third overall pick has also become an integral part of Djurgårdens’ powerplay, skating on the half-wall, distributing the puck, and firing one-timers.

Anyone who has followed Elite Prospects’ work over the past year knows we've always been lower on Frondell than most other outlets.
