BOSTON, Mass. — A power play goal in overtime from Montreal Canadiens prospect Jordan Harris gave Northeastern a 4-3 win over Boston University and their third consecutive Beanpot championship in front of a sellout crowd at TD Garden Monday night.

“Right when we got the power play, we went to the bench and coach was mentioning that if we get the puck, try to push it to the middle and get a shot on net,” the sophomore defenceman said. “So, I tried to do just that and thankfully it went in.”

It’s just one more example of the 19-year-old’s great skating, good shot, coachability and why he’s averaging more than 25 minutes a night on the Huskies blueline.
