2025 Stanley Cup Playoff Preview: Dallas Stars vs. Edmonton Oilers

One of the reasons we love the Stanley Cup playoffs is how unpredictable they are. Anything can happen in seven games, any team can turn on the switch, any goalie can get red-hot and power an underdog deep into the postseason. 

Sometimes, though, things do pretty much just make sense. That's why, just like last year, the Dallas Stars will taken on the Edmonton Oilers in the Western Conference Final. Along the way, the Stars had to beat the Avalanche and the Oilers had to beat the Kings. Sunrise, sunset.

This meeting looks to be even more intriguing than last year's, however.
