2025 Stanley Cup Playoff Preview: Vegas Golden Knights vs. Edmonton Oilers

It's fitting that the Pacific Division has come down to the past two Western Conference champions, one of whom has a Cup ring to show for it while the other is still desperately chasing a Cup. The Knights stepped over the Oilers on the way to that 2023 championship in the only playoff series between these teams until this season, and Edmonton would absolutely love to return the favour.

After a scare in the first three games, the Knights won three straight (including two in overtime) to muscle past a pretty weak Minnesota Wild squad in round one. They didn't play their best, but the numbers under the hood are encouraging and this roster remains dangerous as ever. It's no secret that some of this team's best players are getting older and this is a superb opportunity for the team to advance to
